One of our Lead Mentors Plandes who is based in Dubai, will be facilitating teaching practice at the park for the House of Om students and alumnis every Tuesday 830 am and Saturday 5pm during the month of May.
We hope that most of you can make it so that we can meet and connect personally. We will have a teaching practice experience, so get ready and let us all be a teacher and a student in the upcoming meeting.
Due to restrictions on social distancing, it is only allowed to have maximum 3 students per session (plus Lani and Galina who will be the instructors to provide feedback).

Be ready to be engaged and have teaching experience with the group. We are excited to meet all of you and connect and be a student to experience your teaching skills.
Please have your sequence is ready, a sequence that you can teach for 20mins. You will be asked to teach any of the following sections:
1) Centering, Warm Up, Sun Salutation
2) Standing Poses (Warriors)
3) Standing Balance / core / hip openers (on the floor)
you can choose to prepare a sequence on the following options
a. Standing Balance
b. poses to do core strengthening (planking, side planks or any core on the floor)
c. poses to open the hips on the floor (lizard, anjenyasana or any hip opener on the floor)
4) Seated Poses / Seated Core / Backbend
Choices to do any of the following
a. Seated poses
b. Seated core (seated poses that is focusing on activating the core – e.g. navasana)
c. Backbends (poses from the backbends family on the floor you can choose any from the learning platform)
5) Cool Down & Savasana (cool down sequence from module 5)
Please bring the following:
• Your own yoga mat
• Yoga props – blocks / straps / bolsters (if you need props for your sequence)
• And most importantly, the pure intention to connect, share and teach from the heart.
