    Hello,

I’m in Ontario, Canada (ET time zone, UTC -4/5) and I’m interested in recovery-focused yoga. I’m a student of the Y12SR program (Yoga for 12 Step Recovery) and I’m becoming a facilitator with Love Your Brain (adaptive, trauma-informed yoga for TBI). I’d love to connect with students who are studying adaptive yoga or yoga for recovery /trauma healing. I’m interested in meeting online to practice teaching, discuss the course content and study together.

    Looking forward to connecting,

    West

Hello. I am so in 🙂

I study psychology. I worked before with victims of crime and I am now exploring more the world of somatics and how I can create safe spaces for people to feel. Trauma its a big sensible topic. I worked with survivors.

I would love to have a chat. I always love to explore more and more about this topic.

Hi! I would love to be included in this discussion. I just finished my BTEC L6 in Advanced Clinical Massage & Sports Massage Therapy which is why I started the YTT 200 to incorporate it into my current work with clients in clinic and online. My dissertation and research study was on working with clients online to reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress. I have a friend who is living with a TBI and would love to talk/learn more with others.

Hi, this is a great impulse and I would be interested in contributing to the discussion with my experience and knowledge. As I was affected by an event and its past, I studied health psychology for 6 semesters and have been involved with many topics around the topic for 20 years. I have also trained as a psychosocial emergency worker.

But my English is still expandable in this field xD. I would like to be there to help people with this. I have zoom, sky or teams. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Best regards Peter

This sounds great! I would like to join this discussion too. I’m eager to learn all different aspects of yoga and see which one is best suited for me.

Hi, love this initiative! I am in! I am a trauma therapist and I do a lot of somatic work, rooted in polyvagal theory and yoga practices. I am one final exam away from completing my YTT (Darn it!) – looking forward to talking with everyone.

Hi everyone, thank you so much for responding with interest in creating a discussion around trauma-informed /adaptive yoga ✨ I’m impressed with everyone’s background and personal investment in recovery-focused yoga, this is exciting!

I’m wondering what format work best for everyone for a group discussion and resources so I created a poll: https://take.quiz-maker.com/poll4910900x1f804E33-151

You can select more than one answer and also make suggestions. Looking forward to being in touch!

    With gratitude,

    West 💛🧡💜
