  1. I especially like our teacher’s explanation that the beginning of yoga has no real date: that it links back to when the first humans asked “Who am I? What am I?” The story of Lord Shiva as Adiyogi is beautiful also.

  2. I loved the explanation of the early yoga being about hands, heart, and head. I like that faith and devotion was part of that description. I come from a christian background and much of my family have felt this did not ‘fit’ with that. I have always felt it did and his description helped to make that clear. Bhakti yoga.. the path of devotion.. and all the others together are all similar to the tenets of a christian faith.
