Ayurveda

Āyurveda (Sanskrit: आयुर्वेद) is the medicine of India coming down traditionally from the earliest times.

Vāṭa

Vata (Sanskrit: वात) The word ‘Vāta’ is derived from the verb ‘Vā’ which means Gati (motion).
It is connected to prāṇa or the life-force and is the prime manifestation of prāṇa in the body

Pitta

Pīta (Sanskritपीत) is a Sanskrit technical term translating to the color “yellow” and is used throughout Ayurvedic literature

Kapha

Kapha (kaf’a, kap’a) (Sanskrit: कफ) refers to one of the three Doṣas (tridoṣa), representing the “water element” of the human body.
