Tadasana
- ‘Tad’ refers to Mountain, so Tadasana or Mountain pose
- This is the basic standing pose and is the standard beginning posture before any sequence of poses
- If you do not know how to stand straight it is very difficult to be able to do any of the other asanas
- Learning to balance your weight equally on both legs is very important
- Standing straight is beneficial for all the organs of the body and also the muscles of the whole body
