  • ‘Parivrtta’ refers to rotated; ‘Janu’ refers to knee and ‘Sirs’ to head. So, Rotated Knee-To-Head Pose
  • This is a good stretch for the hamstrings and also stretches the side muscles
  • It opens up the chest and side of the chest, aiding in deeper breathing and activating all the muscles of breathing 
  • Good pose to help with digestion as it puts a beneficial stress on the abdominal organs
