I am a sweaty lady and I use the yogi bare travel mat. It’s got a microfiber surface to make me stick when I start sweating! You probably would need a basic mat under for extra comfort as they’re very thin (2mm) but I love it and it’s super light when taking it to places.

I second Yogi Bare! Best matts and more affordable than some others in the same league.

I use lululemon, pretty good if you have sweaty hands. Worked for me the last three to four years.

But now I am feeling the mat is to sticky. If I want to jump it is not so good.

I think is a personal decision. For beginner very good.

Jade Yoga has been incredible for me. The grip is unmatched. I would suggest going on youtube and searching yoga mat comparison tests, theres alot of good information there.

    These Australian-made mats are unbelievably non-slip https://www.secondearth.com.au/products/2e-connected-eco-friendly-yoga-mat

Manduka mats are also top of the line for non-slip, but definitely a little more $$
