Garudasana
- ‘Garuda’ means Eagle. By crossing the knees and legs and the arms we recreate eagle stance.
- Garuda or the Eagle is the vehicle of Vishnu, one of the trinity of Hindu Gods and the one in charge of maintaining the order of the cosmos (Krishna is an avatar of Vishnu)
- It is a good pose for the flexibility of the knees and hips, and the upper back and shoulders.
