Chakrasana Or Urdhva Dhanurasana

  • ‘Chakra’ means a wheel; ‘Urdhva’ is upward facing and ‘Dhanur’ is a bow as this posture looks like an inverted bow pose (Dhanurasana)
  • The complete back bend; it stimulates the sympathetic nervous system and stretches the lower back completely
  • Strengthens your shoulders as you have to carry the weight of your upper body on your shoulders
