Bhaktī Yoga

Bhakti yoga (Sanskrit: भक्तियोग) literally means “attachment, participation, fondness for, homage, faith, love, devotion, worship, purity”.

Māntra

Mantra (Sanskrit: मन्त्र) refers to a “mystical formula” regarding some deity. It is used throughout vedic and purāṇic literature.

Jñāna Yoga

Jñāna (Sanskrit: ज्ञान) Jnana is a Sanskrit word that means knowledge of the eternal and real.

Kārma Yoga

Karma (Sanskrit कर्म) litterally means “action, activity”.

Rājā Yoga

Raja (Sanskrit: राजा) means “chief, best of its kind” or “king” Rāja yoga thus refers to “chief, best of yoga”.
